Youth Fair

Thursday & Friday August 5th & 6th Youth Fair near Martinsburg, WV
The 63rd annual Berkeley County Youth Fair continues through Saturday with food-eating contests, concerts, bull riding, demolition derby and more. Continues through Saturday. Gates open at noon. Carnival opens at 6 p.m. daily; all-you-can-ride wrist bands cost $18. Indoor exhibits open at noon; commercial exhibits open at 5 p.m. Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds, off Country Club Road, near Martinsburg, W.Va. 10 am Chambersburg, PA ‘Two Marys, Five Jacks and One Very Big Shoe’ The Totem Pole Players: Theater for Young Audiences presents an audience-participation version of a collection of Mother Goose rhymes. 10 a.m. Chambersburg Middle School, 1151 E. 10 am – 3 pm Boonsboro Summer festival
The festival includes children’s games, water park, petting zoo, classic car cruise-in, arts and crafts vendors, magician and bake sale. 1pm Hagerstown Taste of the Garden
Foods from the garden will include heirloom variety tomatoes, melons, squashes, herbs and more. There will be information on preserving food from the garden. Lions Club community fair
A week of carnival rides, concerts, karaoke for cash and more. Activities begin Saturday with a Mercersburg Community Band concert and fireworks. Daily schedule includes amusement rides from 6:30 to 10 p.m. for $15. TriState Astronomers will host a free public meteor shower observing event to view the Perseid meteor shower. Bring blankets or lawn chairs.
