As the end of summer looms ahead and back-to-school is right around the corner, local happenings for kids are packing each remaining week. Lucky for us! Here are WCMoms picks for this weekend’s best bets!

Friday, August 13
1pm Steam and gas show     Chambersburg, Pa
Cumberland Valley Antique Engine and Machinery Association’s 18th annual steam and gas show. Activities include a parade of tractors at 1 p.m. daily; plus tractor pulls, kiddie tractor pull, blacksmithing, saw milling, and a flea market. Friday through Sunday, Aug. 15. Dusk Free movie night Hagerstown

8pm ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Hagerstown

10am – 5pm Leitersburg Peach Festival Hagerstown

12pm – 8pm Fun day for youth Williamsport
The Town of Williamsport will provide a free fun day for youth before the new school year begins. Music, face painting, water activities, water-balloon battle, art projects.
