hi everyone! I am a new mom to a 6 week old, staying at home for now. Starting to go stir crazy though and hoping to slowly get out more with him as the weather gets nicer, looking for mom and baby friendly places and activities in the area.

Hello Megan, I’m new to the area and this site. I’m looking to meet new moms. I have a sons whos older than your child, his 10 months, but he is my first too. I’m looking for a safe and baby friendly place to have playdates as well. Thanks!

What area of Washington county do you live in? I have not got out much with Lucas yet. I am excited for the warm weather for taking him for walks and to a park. have you found any nice places to meet for playdates? Would you like to meet sometime? Hello Elizabeth, I just moved to the area also and am looking to meet new moms. I have a 10 month old. How old is your child? I’m always looking for fun playdates to get him to interact with other children.

I would like to do something with other stay at home mom’s who have special skills.
cooking, acting, art, music, etc. meeting oncee per week and teaching our children something in one of these areas. anyone interested?

Does anyone know of a place that stay at home mom’s can take their children to that is affordable, so that they may learn acting, art, music or dance. (preschool aged)

I realize this post was made a few months ago but I was interested in finding out if a playgroup had ever been set up. I am a SAHM of a 10 month old little girl & I am definitely interested in joining or helping to form a group in the area.
